Dubai is calling all digital content creators with an enticing offer: a chance to live and work in the United Arab Emirates under an expanded Golden Visa program. This initiative, dubbed Creators HQ, targets a wide array of creators, including those specializing in video, audio, and artistic content for online and social media platforms.
Launched on January 13, 2025, at Emirates Towers, Creators HQ is more than just a visa program—it’s a comprehensive incubation center. This facility provides essential resources and support to help creators expand their global reach while enjoying the benefits of Dubai’s tax-free environment and high-quality lifestyle. The initiative reflects Dubai’s commitment to becoming a hub for digital innovation and creativity.
Prashant Ajmera, an immigration lawyer at Ajmera Law Group, emphasized that the program is inclusive of all types of digital creators, not just writers. By providing a 10-year renewable residency permit, the UAE aims to attract a diverse group of creative talents from across the globe.
To kickstart this initiative, the UAE government has invested $40.8 million into the Content Creators Support Fund. This fund is designed to assist with the logistical aspects of moving to Dubai, such as Golden Visa applications, business registrations, and other relocation services. Moreover, Creators HQ has already formed partnerships with major tech giants like Meta, TikTok, and X, attracting over 100 members from 20 different countries.
This strategic move by the UAE serves as a significant development for content creators worldwide, offering them a unique opportunity to base themselves in one of the world’s most dynamic and forward-thinking cities.
