Across the global financial services, wealth management, and legal industries, a broad sweep of leadership changes and strategic hires has marked a period of transition and growth.

Europe Highlights

Allfunds named Pascal Duval as senior advisor for France and Benelux, adding a veteran with over 35 years in wealth management, including roles at Amundi and Russell Investments. Meanwhile, Rathbones Group appointed Charlotte Lamb to lead marketing for asset management, intermediaries, and charities.

Bank of Singapore boosted its Dubai hub with six key hires in advisory and product solutions, including Zeena Abou Elnaja from Julius Baer and Mehvish Ayub from State Street Global Advisors. Evelyn Partners named Bahador Mahvelati as COO, while Quilter Cheviot added Nicola Toyer to its charities team.

Notably, Julius Baer chairman Romeo Lacher stepped down, and Geoff Blake became CEO at KBI Global Investors. Candriam appointed Cristina Lugaro as head of Nordics distribution, and NatureAlpha hired former BlackRock MD Laura Segafredo as chief growth officer.

LGT Wealth Management promoted 11 new partners, while Stonehage Fleming named Stuart Parkinson as group CEO. UK-based Brown Shipley appointed several new client advisors including Thomas Clarke and Kate Richardson.

Other standout appointments include Nick Bartlett as CEO of CFA UK, Adam Peters to lead UK retail distribution at AllianceBernstein, and Sebastian Henrichs joining Allfunds as senior advisor for Germany and Austria.

North America Moves

In the U.S., Citi Private Bank saw a major reshuffling with global head Ida Liu departing after nearly two decades. Citi also brought in Marc Turansky from JP Morgan to lead investment advisory programs.

JP Morgan Private Bank expanded its advisory team, while Goldman Sachs appointed Brittany Boals Moeller to lead private wealth in San Francisco. Carlyle named Brad McCarthy to head APAC wealth from Singapore.

At Rockefeller Global Family Office, two new private advisor teams—Heritage Wealth Partners and Venetos Wealth Partners—joined from JP Morgan and other institutions. Envestnet appointed Chris Todd as CEO after its Bain Capital acquisition, and Brown Brothers Harriman added Alex Rohr to its corporate advisory team.

Other notable shifts include new CEO Tony Miller at Janney Montgomery Scott, and KeyCorp appointing Robert Weiss to lead its UHNW business.

Asia-Pacific Activity

In Asia, DBS named Rajat Verma as CEO for its India operations. HSBC made several leadership changes in its private banking operations, including Urban Binggeli for Indonesia and Benjamin Wang for Thailand.

Carlyle hired Brad McCarthy to lead its APAC wealth strategy. JP Morgan AM named Supreet Bhan as head of intermediary business for Hong Kong, while Standard Chartered appointed Khoo Kian Jin to lead private markets in Southeast Asia.

Muzinich & Co hired Pam Hsieh from BlackRock to lead marketing in Singapore, and Warburg Pincus’ joint venture tapped Bart Price to head its life sciences property platform in Asia.

Legal and Advisory Sector Shifts

Several legal firms made strategic hires. Charles Russell Speechlys brought in digital asset expert Racheal Muldoon as partner, along with hires in Paris, Zurich, and Dubai. Appleby appointed Claire van Overdijk KC as a partner in Bermuda, while Carey Olsen promoted lawyers across its global offices.

Stephenson Executive Search, Withers, and Templeton Emerging Markets Trust also announced key leadership transitions. Hoffman Sabban & Watenmaker joined Withers, adding a team of prominent trust and estate lawyers.
