TESTIMONIALS

Why Vietnam?

Why you should attend Asia Outbound Summit 2023

Since the inception of the Asia Outbound Summit series in 2010, Asia’s HNWI, investment groups, and corporations have developed an ever-increasing need for sophisticated international wealth, immigration, tax, and asset protection services. This demand, coupled with increasing pressure from local and international authorities for transparency has created a massive gap in traditional cross-border planning for local practitioners.

The Asia Outbound Summit series has been designed exclusively to close this gap and equip local practitioners with the much-needed information and resources to effectively serve their corporate and HNWI clients.

Why Vietnam?

  • Between 2020 and 2025, Vietnam’s HNWI population is expected to increase by 50%. This makes Vietnam an ideal hotbed for service providers targeting HNWI. (Statista)
  • Vietnam is predicted to be the fastest-growing APAC market over the next 10 years. (Forbes)
  • Foreign direct investment inflows into Vietnam doubled from 8 billion to 16 billion in the period from 2010 to 2020, making it one of the world’s fastest-growing markets in terms of inbound FDI. This trend points to a burgeoning opportunity for corporate structuring professionals. (The World Bank)
  • Ho Chi Minh City is expected to top the list of cities with the largest increase in the number of UHNWI – a 173% jump over 10 years. (Vietnam Briefing)
  • The economic growth of Vietnam will exceed 6% until 2019, which is among the world’s fastest. (The World Bank)

Daniel personally advised more than a hundred clients in the past years, providing them with tailor-made solutions.

Montenegro, aside from the pristine beaches and breathtaking mountains is known for the fastest and most cost-effective citizenship program in Europe, attracting investors from all over the world. In 2019, Daniel became responsible for coordinating the Montenegro Citizenship by Investment program, where Discus Holdings – through its ownership – is one of the three government-approved agents of the program worldwide. With the program closure at the end of 2022, there is a very limited time remaining for investors to grasp this opportunity, which is the prime reason Daniel decided to take part in the Vietnam summit.

By profession, Daniel is an economist and international relations expert. He studied in three countries, lived and worked in several others within the European Union. Daniel moved to Dubai in early 2022 to further develop the relationship with the company’s partners in the region.
